MILLERSBURG, Ohio – An informal informative meeting for producers practicing or planning to practice management intensive grazing is being arranged by Lloyd Miller, who farms near Berlin in Holmes County.

Miller said he plans it to be a gathering that will allow producers to talk about their successes and problems, and will form the beginning of a intensive grazing network.

The meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 27 at the Miller dairy farm, three miles west of Berlin and five miles east of Millersburg, at 5438 Township Road 353.

Miller operates a seasonal dairy herd with 100 acres in grass.

Guest speaker at the meeting will be Fergus Omeara from Ireland, who is working with DairyMaster Farming Systems. Omeara will speak on Dairy Management practices in Ireland.

Those attending are asked to bring their own lunch. Drinks and coffee will be furnished.

For more information or directions call Miller at 330-674-4267 or Eric Grimm at 419-929-4304.
