January event is produce industry’s key conference and marketplace

SANDUSKY, Ohio — More than 40 educational sessions, a 100-booth trade show will be showcased under one roof when the Ohio Produce Growers and Marketers Association (OPGMA) hosts its annual OPGMA Congress, Jan. 21-23 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio.

Tracks of education include food safety, vegetables, tree fruit, small fruit, marketing, merchandising, business management, disease and insect management, nutrition, research updates, and more.

The nine sessions focused on food safety and the Ohio Produce Marketing Agreement are open to anyone at no charge.

Trade show

Vendors from across the country will be on-hand to showcase the latest innovations in produce, equipment, products, and services, during the conference trade show.
