CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Museum Center will lead a tour to Kentucky’s Old Fort Harrod and Perryville Battlefield April 27.
The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Old Fort Harrod is the first permanent English settlement west of the Allegheny Mountains.
Tour participants can watch craftspeople demonstrating a variety of settlers’ daily tasks within the full-scale reproduction fort’s stockade.
Lunch will be included at historic Beaumont Inn.
In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Perryville Battlefield will explain Kentucky’s most strategic and bloodiest engagement of the Civil War, which was fought for the control of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Tickets are $60 for members of the museum; $65 for nonmembers. Registration Deadline is April 19.
