BRODHEAD, Wis. — North America, Inc., of Brodhead, Wis., is expanding to the manufacturing plant in Brodhead, and is opening a new, large machine assembly facility in Monswiller, France.

A 66,000 square foot expansion at the Brodhead manufacturing plant opened in September 2008, and is now fully operational.
This new facility has allowed for critical expansion of existing product lines as well as the setup of new product lines, all with the aim of increased
productivity.

Production also began in the 286,000 square foot facility in France in May 2008. This facility will handle assembly of large machines to order and logistics management, and also operate a new high-quality painting process with surface treatment.

Kuhn plans to ramp up assembly at this site, reaching a production rate of 7,000 machines per year by 2010. These major investments are part of the Kuhn Group’s growth and development strategy.

The expansions will help to increase production capability, reducing availability delays and better meeting customers’ growing demands for the highest quality products and services.

Kuhn North America is a leading innovator in the field of agricultural and industrial equipment, specializing in spreaders, mixers, hay tools and tillage tools.

Kuhn and Kuhn Knight products are sold through farm equipment dealers throughout the United States, Canada, and many other countries.
