Marconi 106C brings $20,000 at auction

BURBANK, Ohio – A Marconi 106C brought $20,000 at a recent auction by Richard Estesat a radio auction at Expo Auction Center in Burbank, Ohio.

Other items sold at the sale Feb. 22 include a Wireless Specialty 501 for $17,500; Wireless Specialty 501-A, $7,000; Scott Philharmonic, $5,500; Scott Imperial, $3,100; and Atwater Kent Model 9 breadboard, $2,000.

An Amrad 3500 sold for $1,500; Federal 61, $900; Model 195 Stewart Warner with chrome grill, $900; RCA Model 362 Siesta, $800; and Magnavox horn with amp, $600.

A Splendid one-tube sold for $500; Zenith 95-262 console, $600; Model 10 breadboard, $800; Majestic grandfather clock, $600; and Atwater Kent 3925, $650.
