Miniature horse died of natural causes, report says

SALEM, Ohio – A miniature horse found dead at Berlin Lake in early November died from natural causes, according to necropsy reports from the Ohio State University veterinary hospital.

The owners initially suspected foul play and is still offering a reward for information that tells them how the horse was removed from their property near Deerfield.

The 2-year-old black stallion was found dead by a dock owner Nov. 3 on the shores of Berlin Lake.
