GILBERT, Pa. – This “second” Northeast Regional Small Farm and Rural Living Exposition and Trade Show is a multi-state program modeled similar to Penn State’s Ag Progress Days, but designed for small farm interests.

The event Sept. 21-22 will be at the West End Fairgrounds north of Gilbert, Pa., located in the eastern foothills of the Pocono’s. It is a joint effort of Penn State, Rutgers and Cornell Cooperative Extensions cooperating with ag business, ag agency, producer and commodity groups and other interested in supporting small farmers and those living in the country of the northeast United States.

The goal of this event is to link potential and existing small farm producers with the numerous service agencies, businesses and organizations providing vital services to the mid-Atlantic and northeast agricultural community.

There will be a trade show, educational demonstrations, exhibits and agency representatives.

Admission, including access to all classes, demonstrations, workshops and exhibits is $10 for adults, or a two-day pass is available for $15.
