Open beef show held at Pa. Farm Show

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Karli Berkheimer, York County, and Rylee Stockdale, Dayton, Armstrong County, showed the supreme heifer and bull, respectively, during the open beef show at this year’s Pennsylvania Farm Show.

AHFF Candice Rose, the late spring yearling heifer of Berkheimer, was named the supreme champion heifer. Before being named supreme, she was awarded the title of champion Maintainer heifer.

Stockdale’s bull, RS WBCC PROFESSOR 27D, was the class winning late spring bull calf and then claimed the title of champion Hereford bull.

Judges Dr. Tom Turner, Somerset, Ohio, and Dr. Dan Eversole, Blacksburg, Virginia, sorted through the eight breed champions to select the overall champion bull and heifer.
