OPSB to hold public hearing May 5 regarding wind farm proposal

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Power Siting Board will hold a public hearing to provide area residents an opportunity to testify about Greenwich Windpark, LLC’s proposal to construct a wind farm in Huron County.

Location

The hearing is scheduled for May 6 at 6 p.m., South Central High School, 3305 Greenwich Angling Road, Greenwich, Ohio.

Greenwich Windpark proposes to construct up to 25 wind turbines with a net generating capacity of 60 megawatts.

Details

The proposed project, encompassing 4,600 acres of leased land in Greenwich Township, would include access roads, an electrical collection line system, and operations and maintenance facilities.
