Outdoor antique show and sale scheduled at Westlake

WESTLAKE, Ohio – The Westlake Historical Society will sponsor its annual Outdoor Antique Show and Sale July 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The elegant setting for this show will be the Clague House Museum, built in 1876, at 1371 Clague Road in Westlake.

Items included.

Over 50 dealers from many states will feature fine furniture, wicker, glassware, advertising, collectibles, clocks, linens, toys, primitives and other treasures for your home or collections.

There will be demonstrations and sales of early domestic arts (outdoor cooks, blacksmiths, butter churners, rug makers, weavers, woodworkers, basket makers, quilters, etc.) at the Dover Vintage Days, adjacent to the antique show.

Other events.

Free tours of the museum will also be given to show off the newest acquisitions and restoration of the Clague House.

The animal shelters from Westlake and Bay Village along with the Lake Erie Greyhound Rescue group will also be present.

Children can ring the bell of the 1937 original Dover fire truck and see the miniature replica of the Clague House furnished by the Miniature Society.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
