Quality assurance education training

MEDINA, Ohio – The annual Quality Assurance Education Training Program is being offered to 4-H members.

The training dates for 2001 are: Feb. 22, March 19, and May 31. All classes will begin at 7 p.m. and last 60-90 minutes. Classes are at the Lafayette United Methodist Church, 6201 Lafayette Road in Lafayette.

This program is mandatory for all Junior Fair exhibitors of market livestock, and at least one parent.

Exhibitors and parents who do not attend the education program will not be allowed to show their animals at the Medina County Junior Fair.

The program is targeted for 4-H youth who plan to show market lamb, hog, beef steer, dairy beef, finished steer, veal, rabbit meat pen, all meat poultry (chicken, ducks, geese, turkeys), meat goat, lactating dairy cows and goats.
