Radio auction draws bidders from 19 states

BURBANK, Ohio — Estes Auctions radio sale offered a variety of radio items, and bidders from 19 states, Canada and Shanghai, China, came to bid on items May 18.

Highlights included a Zenith 1000Z Stratosphere that sold for $46,000 a McMurdo Silver V that went for $7,600 and a Zenith 811 that was bought for $5,500.

An Ozarka 93 sold for $3,750; a Zenith 12S232 Walton went for $3,600 and a Philharmonic sold for $3,400.

An Emerson Mae West went for a bid of $1900, an Emerson Mickey Mouse sold for $1,300 and a Zenith 124159 was bought for $1,800.

The next sale is June 15 at 10 a.m..
