Showmen compete at Holstein show

LISBON, Ohio – Sixty-six head of Holstein cattle competed in the District II Holstein Show July 12 at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds.

In the junior show, grand champion went to Neil Moff’s senior champion aged cow and reserve grand champion went to Heidi Moff’s junior 3-year-old, also the intermediate champion.

Neil Moff’s 5-year-old took reserve senior champion, and Elizabeth Moff’s senior 3-year-old took reserve intermediate champion.

Junior champion went to Katey Lora’s fall heifer calf, and reserve junior champion went to Grant Cope’s summer yearling heifer.

Senior show. In the senior show, grand champion went to Phillisway Farms’ aged cow, and reserve went to Hycrest Farms’ 2-year-old, also the intermediate champion. The aged cow also took senior champion, and Phillisway Farms had the reserve senior champion.

Phillisway Farms’ junior 3-year-old was the reserve intermediate champion.

Junior champion went to Hycrest Farms’ fall yearling heifer and reserve junior champion went to Katey Lora’s fall heifer calf.

Premier exhibitor and breeder both went to the Moff family.
