The Carroll County Antique Collectors’ Club held its first Spring Tractor Drive May 3 at Jack and Sally Sutherland’s home with 77 participants in attendance. There were 43 units in the procession, with the oldest being a mid-1930’s model Farmall F-20 owned by Gary and Janie Mardis of Mechanicstown and the newest being a late 1970s model John Deere 4430 owned by Steve and Sue Vosi of Minerva. The group traveled a total of 30 miles through parts of Carroll and Stark counties.

The club meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Carroll County Volunteer Fire Dept. Hall on state Route 9 north of Carrollton. The club’s annual show is Oct. 16-18 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds. Another drive is being planned for the fall.
