Tea Leaf china collectors head to annual convention

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tea Leaf Returns to Music City is the theme of the 23rd annual convention of Teal Leaf Club International, which will be Sept. 20-22, in Nashville, Tenn.

The Nashville Airport Marriott will be the gathering place for the more than 200 people expected to attend.

There will be a private open house Sept. 19 for those arriving early.

There will be a first-timers meeting Sept. 20 for those new to the convention. Other highlights of this day include displays featuring pieces of members’ Tea Leaf ironstone. There will be a low notes sale in the evening where members can sell pieces for less than $40.

There will be educational programs presented by members Sept. 21. The annual meeting will be afterward with a regional luncheon. Another exhibit will be displayed in the afternoon.

The convention auction will also be Sept. 21. Members can bid on hundreds of pieces of Tea Leaf china.

There will be a high notes sale Sept. 22. Dealers and private collectors can buy or sell.
