Members of the Northwestern FFA, West Salem, Ohio, placed fourth in the National FFA Dairy Cattle Evaluation career development event, held during the National FFA Convention in Louisville.
Members of the team are Laura Mole; Andrea Keener; Angela Hartman; Ryan Lingle. Dan Fulk is their adviser. The team was coached by Darby McLaughlin and Phil Keener.
Individually, Keener placed third overall; Hartman, 17th; Mole, 38th; and Lingle, 115th. Participants evaluated six classes of animals, including oral reasoning, linear evaluation, and pedigrees.
