Tomato Growers School scheduled for March 2

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The popular Tomato Growers School offered by Penn State Extension is being revived this winter after a six-year hiatus.

Date. The program is set to take place March 2 in Carlisle, Cumberland County at the Penn State Extension office.

The Tomato Growers School is a one-day seminar, running from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. It will focus on six essential areas: market trends, tomato varieties, pollinating tomatoes, pest management, harvesting and fertilization and nutrient management.
