Edward J. Greeneisen, 89, of Beloit, died Oct. 29 at noon at Pleasant View North in Damascus. He was born Sept. 20, 1922, in Smith Township, a son of Walter and Eva E. (Nelson) Greeneisen. He lived in the area all of his life. He was self employed as a farmer until he retired in the mid 1990s.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anise Feicht, whom he married Aug. 7, 1970. He was a 50-year member of the Farm Bureau. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Albert Greeneisen, Russell Greeneisen and John Greeneisen; and a sister, Berdina Greeneisen.
There will be no services or calling hours. Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral Home is making the arrangements.
