LEETONIA, Ohio — Verla Ann (Feicht) Wilms 73, of Salem Township, Leetonia, died at 10:05 p.m. March 31, 2014 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 24, 1940 in Greenford, Ohio, the daughter of Howard L. and Dorothea (Cobourn) Feicht. She served as a book keeper in the area as well as the office manager of Midway Motors until 1988.
A member of the Greenford Christian Church and a 1958 graduate of Greenford High School in Greenford, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Wilms whom she married on May 19, 1987, her children, Doralie Kay (David) Lautzenheiser of Salem, Amy Marie Wilms of Redlands, Ca., Douglas (Cindi) Manypenny of Salem, Leanne (Gary) Cygan of Renfew, Pa., and Daniel V. (Brenda) Vargo of Cresson, Pa., siblings, Phyllis (William) Ferguson of Salem and Bruce (Carolyn) Feicht of Columbiana, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Vernon Feicht.
A Celebration of Life service was observed April 5, 2014 at the Greenford Christian Church. The Rev. John Bush officiated the services. The burial will follow at Green Township (Christian Church) Cemetery.
