BUTLER, Pa. — United Producer’s, Inc./Keystone Beef Marketing Network is growing rapidly in western Pennsylvania. They are continually reaching new customers and want to spread the word about the company and the benefits of “honest as day is long.”
The company is proud of the fact that they were formed by western Pennsylvania cattlemen and strive to help the western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio cattleman.
Growth areas include: hogs and sheep, in western Pennsylvania, and acquiring cattle to put on the rail. In five years, the company hopes to have collection points in various regions of Pennsylvania.
The company markets cattle (feeder, cows, bulls, finished cattle and culls), offers agriculture financing and agriculture lending, risk management services on crops, cattle, hogs and energy.
The company has two employees and was formed in 2010.
In 2012, the company acquired a buying station in Mercer County (formerly the McKean buying station).
It now offers online auction bidding. Bids are free and there are no fees unless there is an accepted bid.
