  • 1 water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 s whole wheat flour
  • 2 s plus 2 tablespoons unbleached flour
  • 1 uncooked oats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast


Measure water, melted butter and honey into bread pan. Next add whole wheat flour, unbleached flour, oats, salt and blueberries. Make a well in dry ingredients and measure in yeast. Select basic bread cycle for 2 lb. loaf. Baking time will be about 50 minutes.
A wholesome, nutritious loaf with a crunchiness from the oats and a sweetness from the blueberries, this bread is moist, small-textured, and easy to slice.
