Blueberry-Peach Crumble

  • 4 to 6 peaches
  • 1 box blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, divided
  • 1/2 flour
  • 1/2 rolled oats (if you don?t have rolled oats, replace with 1/2 cup flour)


Peel and cut peaches into morsels. Add to bowl with blueberries. Add approximately juice of half a lemon, cinnamon and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Mix well. In another bowl combine flour, oats, remaining 1/2 cup sugar and butter. With your hands, combine all so it makes a crumble topping. Add fruit to pie plate (glass) and cover with topping. Make sure that all fruit is well covered. Bake at 350° 40 minutes. Let cool a good 1/2 hour.

fruit may be substituted for blueberries and peach, such as apples, strawberry and rhubarb, mixed berries or plums and
