Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed pumpkin or butternut squash
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites
- 2 unbaked pastry shells
Directions
Mix all ingredients together except egg whites. Beat egg whites and stir in last. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, then at 325° for 40 minutes or until done.
