Cherry Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90 percent lean)
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) pork and beans
  • 2 cups frozen pitted tart cherries, thawed
  • 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons cider vinegar

Directions

In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir in beef. Transfer to an ungreased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 40-45 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
