- 3 cups cut-up left over turkey or canned turkey
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk or half/half cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 cups toasted whole wheat bread cubes, divided
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Directions
Combine ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup bread cubes and almonds for topping; mix well. Spoon into 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with topping. Bake at 325° for about 40-45 minutes or until bubbly and topping is golden brown. Note: Recipe can be assembled the night before and baked the next day when needed.
