Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot dogs
- 1 tablespoon of canola oil
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard (or yellow, if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 6 hamburger buns
Directions
Slice all the hot dogs into 8 strips each. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat and stir in hot dog strips. Cook strips 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until nicely browned. Stir ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard into hot dogs. Dump in brown sugar and stir until well blended. Cook hot dog mixture for 5 minutes or until completely heated through.
Cover bottom halves of the buns with the hot dogs, allowing some strips to stick out of bun and cover with the top half to serve. Makes 6 servings.
