Fluffy Strawberry Frosting

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 1/2 strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 teaspoons orange liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Combine all ingredients in top of double boiler and place over boiling water. Beat with electric mixer 6 to 7 minutes, or until mixture holds stiff peaks. Spread
over cake. Makes enough to frost 2 8-inch layers.
Note: This frosting is soft, but holds well.
