- 2 loaves frozen wheat bread dough loaves, thawed (this will take 2-3 hours on the countertop or overnight in the refrigerator)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease or spray muffin tins. With scissors or knife, cut each loaf into 24 pieces of dough. Roll the pieces into balls with the flat of your hand. Place three balls of dough in each cup of muffin tin. Brush with melted butter or margarine. Cover loosely with plastic wrap which has been sprayed with cooking spray and put in a warm place. Let rolls rise to double in size, remove plastic wrap, and put them in preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove the rolls from pan at once and place on a wire rack to cool. Brush tops with melted butter or margarine, if desired. Makes 16 rolls.
