Oatmeal Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 cup dark Karo corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup uncooked rolled oats
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar together; add cinnamon, cloves and salt. Stir in syrup; add eggs (one at a time), stirring after each addition until blended.
  2. Stir in milk and coconut next. Stir in rolled oats and pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
  3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
