Skillet Ground Beef Lasagna



  • 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2/3 cup Ground Beef Mix
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups mafalda pasta
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Directions

    In large skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic and drain off excess fat. Add Ground Beef Mix, water, tomato sauce, and uncooked mafalda pasta; stir well. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover pan, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened and pasta is tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and stir; top with mozzarella cheese and cover. Turn off heat, and let cheese melt. 4-6 servings
