Strawberry Pie



  • 1 baked large pie shell
  • 1 quart whole strawberries
  • 1 quart smashed strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Cool Whip, thawed
  • Directions

    Combine smashed strawberries, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Bring to a boil until thick. Cool. Place whole strawberries in pie shell. Alternate with filling ending with whole strawberries on top. Chill. Spread Cool Whip. Use any kind of baked shell.
