The Farm and Dairy can’t always go on vacation. Sometimes it travels across the globe to accompany the men and women serving our country. Such is the case with First Lt. Joel Newburn of Ohio.
Stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan, Newburn, a former Farmers and Farmerettes 4-H Club member from Columbiana County, and currently assigned to the 2nd Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, asked for a small piece of home while serving his deployment.
