Samantha Sarnicke of McMurray, Pa., the 2008 Washington County Agricultural Fair queen, studied abroad this summer at the University of Granada in Spain. Here, she holds Farm and Dairy in front of the Plaza de Espana in Seville, Spain. In Granada, she attended the county fair and it was much different from the county fairs back home…no funnel cakes! Sarnicke is a Spanish major and pre-med student at Washington and Jefferson College.
