Majors added within the last 5 years: Agroecology (takes the place of the Agronomy major. Encompasses agronomy, turfgrass, and organic/Sustainable practices.), environmental protection (soon to be changed to environmental sciences and will still cover the conservation/protection side, but also includes reclamation and remediation).
About: WVU is a land grant university and offer majors that allow a student delve deeper and specialize in a particular interest. WVU also has a multidisciplinary studies degree, so students can create their own major by choosing courses that interest them.
