Salem Public Library will host the program, “Cybersecurity Help, Information, and Protection Program (CHIPP) on September 14, 2017 at 2 pm in the library’s Quaker Room which is located at 821 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460.
As technology continues to be an ever increasing part of the lives of people of all ages it is important to know and to understand how to protect electronic devices and keep personal information private and safe. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of both security and privacy, including the special challenges presented by the use of smartphones and other mobile devices at this CHIPP presentation.
Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for registration assistance. The presentation is open to the public and free of cost to attend.
