Calling people of all ages who enjoy learning about science and history to attend the program, “Fossils: Windows to the Past” scheduled for November 8, 2016 from 6:30-7:30pm in room 23 at the Salem Memorial Building located at 785 E. State St., Salem, Ohio. The family friendly program, an introduction to fossils and what we can learn from them, will be presented by Kent State University Geologist, Cheryl Mattevi. Included in the talk will be where to find fossils in our area, a fossil exhibit to view, how to organize your own personal fossil collection, plus those attending can bring their own fossils to be identified.

Registration is required through the library website at www.salem.lib.oh.us , by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for registration assistance, or by calling Shane Franks at 330-332-5512. This program, an offering in the “Go Wild in the Park” program series, is open to the public and free of cost to attend.
