Get Ready, Get Set, Go!!! Join Salem Public Library and Salem Parks and Recreation as we close out another amazing summer with a Gold Medal Palooza! This all ages event just keeps growing and takes place on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at Salem Memorial Building and Salem Public Library.
Slider, that great fuchsia bird who represents the Cleveland Indians, will be here from 2-3 p.m. so make sure you’re here to meet him and get a picture taken. The afternoon will be packed with indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy! Bring the entire family to participate in a treasure hunt, an obstacle course, parachute games, green screen photo fun, face painting, sports related activities and much, much more!
This Go Wild in the Park event, which is planned through the partnership of Salem Public Library and Salem Parks and Recreation Department, is FREE of cost, open to the public and registration is not required. So be sure to mark your calendar and don’t miss the fun!
