The program “The Beatles in Cleveland: The Notorious 1964 and 1966 Concerts” will be presented by author Dave Schwensen on October 30, 2017 at 6:30pm in the library’s Quaker Room. Learn more about the level of excitement of “Beatlemania” in Northeast Ohio during John, Paul, George and Ringo’s visits to Cleveland for two of the wildest and out of control concerts in the history of the Beatles and rock’ n’ roll. With the use of insider stories, rare films, never-before-published photos and memorabilia Mr. Schwensen will give you a view of the Fab Four behind the scenes and on stage. Highlights of the evening’s program will include films of the Beatles concerts at Cleveland Public Hall in 1964 and Cleveland Municipal Stadium in 1966.

A display of memorabilia and FAB music will be available for viewing 30 minutes before and after the program.

Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us by calling the library at 330-332-0042 or by stopping in at the library located at 821 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460. Attendance is open to the public and free of cost.
