Learn how to test your personal soil, interpret the results, and develop a management plan for your lawns and gardens. Soil samples will be tested for composition, pH, and essential nutrients. To collect a soil sample: remove ground cover, dig a 4 inch hole with a hand trowel, take a slice of soil (from the side of the hole, from ground level to the 4 inch depth), and place the soil in a baggie until you have accumulated 1 to 2 cups. Class size is limited to ensure participants receive one-on-one assistance.
