“Up to Speed” computer tech classes for adults will continue with three topics to explore.
WORD BASICS class will take place on March 2 and repeat on March 16, 2017. Learn the basic workings of Microsoft Word. From creating and editing basic documents to some of the unique features that can be found in the program, we will work with making documents for practice.
BOOKLOVER APPS class will be held on April 6, 2017. Learn about the different ways to interact with books found in a digital medium. If you use e-books whether on a Kindle, Nook, phone or computer we will cover how you can do it. Special attention will be applied to Overdrive, the ebook app used at the library. Feel free to bring your own device for this program.
USING GOOGLE MAPS class will take place on April 20th. Learn the many features of Google Maps and how they can help you. Whether it’s trying to find the quickest way from point A to point B or planning a road trip, Google Maps can help you accomplish it.
All classes take place from 6:30-7:30pm in the Quaker Room of the library located at 821 E. State St., Salem, Ohio. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND SEATING IS LIMITED.
