— Trace Auction Service of Meadville, Pa., held a machinery auction in Cochranton, Pa., April 3 with more than 100 auction goers braving the bad weather to attend.
The top-selling item was a fifth wheel camper that brought $11,750.
Other highlights included a stock trailer for $3,000; a D6 CAT dozer for $2,750; a horse-drawn chuck wagon for $1,325 and a cement stave silo for $800.
— Auctioneer Tim Rocco of Rocco’s Auctions and Appraisals, McKean, Pa., held a real estate and antique and estate auction in Girard, Pa., April 11 with 161 registered bidders.
The top-selling item was an oak sideboard that sold for $450.
Other top-selling times included an oak ice box for $400; an oak stack bookcase for $350 and a butcher block for $250.
According to Rocco, a box of blue canning jars brought $190 and an old bank ledger book brought $100, which is more than he expected.
Unique items that sold in the auction were two small church bells that went for $295 and $275.
