ANDOVER, Ohio — The Pymatuning Valley FFA chapter has remained busy the first month of summer.
On June 25, members enjoyed a recreational meeting, followed by an officer dinner June 27 at Applebee’s in Ashtabula.
Many members also helped on a community service project during June for the Ashtabula County 4-H Camp. Members traced and cut out wood pieces to make various wood animals. At the camp, the children will get to put the pieces together, and then paint the animal.

SULLIVAN, Ohio –Four Black River chapter officers — Sierra Sturgill, Rachael Holt, Madison Edwards, and Cole Mekso — participated in the Ohio Leadership Camp at Camp Muskingum.
At this three-day camp, students got to interact with other FFA’ers, and members of the Ohio Farm Bureau, to become “trustworthy, deliberate, collaborating, agents of change.” There were many activities designed to challenge the campers to come together to solve problems. The day would end with a campfire where the state officers would prepare a speech of reflection for the campers to think about.
