MINERVA, Ohio — Unkefer Equipment, located at 1115 N. Market St. in Minerva, Ohio, marks its 40th anniversary in 2008.
The equipment dealership offers Case IH tractors and skid loaders, New Holland tractors and skid loaders, hay tools, forage equipment, Kubotas and Steiner turf equipment, among other brands and pieces.
The company started in 1968, and progressed from selling lawn mowers to its present lines. It bounced back from a fire in the 1980s that totally destroyed the building and contents. Today, the farm equipment company is stronger than ever.
This year, Unkefer Equipment added a new salesperson, Matt Simms.
According to owner Greg Unkefer, success is attributed to good prices, coupled with excellent parts and service.
