High tea at the Geauga County Historical Society

BURTON, Ohio – The Geauga County Historical Society will host an afternoon Edwardian Tea on the grounds of Century Village Museum, April 28 at 1:30 p.m.

Participants will visit the path that leads to 1846 Century Village Church for an informative program by Nellie Bly, an early female investigative reporter who began her career in 1885.

Following the presentation, an elegant high tea will be served in the Hickox Brick, Boughton, Law, Hitchcock, and Cook houses.

Tea sandwiches, scones, and lemon curd are a few of the items that will be served.

Reservations can be made by calling the Geauga County Historical Society at 440-8341492, ext. 21. The cost is $20 per person and spaces are limited. The deadline is April 20.

Century Village Museum is located in Burton, Ohio at the Intersection of state Route 87 and 168, 35 miles east of Cleveland.
