- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup coconut
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly. Spread in 8 by 8-inch square greased pan. Bake 350° for 30-35 minutes. While warm, cut in squares.
