CARROLLTON, Ohio — The newly formed Eastern Ohio Grazing Council is pleased to offer assistance to landowners wanting to learn more about grazing and pastureland.

The council, compiled of local producers and assisted by local government support, has planned working sessions to answer questions from the most elementary to the most difficult related to grazing.

The council has established the fourth Thursday of every month to host a grazing workshop or pasture walk throughout Eastern Ohio.

Mark your calendars today. Most workshops will begin at 6 p.m.

Livestock producers are encouraged to visit with the Eastern Ohio Grazing Council members, Soil & Water Conservation District, and Natural Resources Conservation Service personnel each month.

The Eastern Ohio Grazing Council, in cooperation with Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, and Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation Districts and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, presents the Grazing Workshops and Pasture Walks.

For more information, or to become a council member please contact Carroll SWCD at 330-627-9852.
