COSHOCTON, Ohio – Have you been wondering what that thing-a-majiggy is in your attic or why your china has those particular markings on the bottom? Wonder no more.

Roscoe Village will be hosting its own version of the popular Antique Road Show April 4. Beginning at 7 p.m., guests may bring their antiques and collectibles for identification and appraisal by Sam Schnaidt.

Schaindt and his wife, Heidi, are the owners of Apple Tree Auction Center in Newark, Ohio, which they have operated since 1983.

Guests are encouraged to bring antiques to be evaluated. Lecture cost will include item appraisal. Reservations are encouraged.

Register to attend the Antiques Appraisal Fair by calling Gladys Ogle at 740-622-5235 or 800-877-1830. The charge for the lecture is $8 for Roscoe Village members and $10 for nonmembers. Price includes refreshments.

Additional topics featured in the 2001 series will be: basket making by Helen Richey, May 2; and herb weaving by Kathryn Benton, June 6.

Roscoe Village is located on state Routes 16 and 83 near the junction of U.S. Route 36.
