Three counties get funding for flood damage

ORWELL, Ohio – Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties have been approved for implementation of the 2006 Environmental Conservation Program Flood.
According to procedure for Environmental Conservation Program, the area committee has established a 20 day sign-up period from Oct. 12 through Nov. 1.
Not yet. Although the implementation of the 2006 Environmental Conservation Program Flood has been approved, funds are currently not available.
If you feel you have suffered a loss due to the floods of July 2006 contact the Ashatabula-Geauga-Lake Farm Service Agency, 33 Grand Valley Ave., Orwell, OR 44076 or 440-437-6330 for an appointment.
Should additional funds become available, producers will be contacted to confirm continued interest in the program. A practice started prior to county FSA committee approval is ineligible for cost-sharing.
