CLEVELAND – Have you ever wondered how much that painting which belonged to your great-grandmother was worth? How about that old lamp that’s been in your family for years?

When and where. Expert antique appraisers will help you determine if your item is a trinket or a treasure at Trinket or Treasure June 21 from noon to 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by Adoption Network Cleveland as a charitable benefit.

The show will be held at 1667 E. 40th St., in the Loftworks Building, in the Midtown Corridor of Cleveland.

Modeled after the Antiques Roadshow, experts can appraise, give historical information on, and discuss the marketability of paintings, antiques and decorative arts including glass, pottery, toys, furniture, coins, household items, books, papers, photographs, and other fine arts, antiques and collectibles.

Appraisals cost $10 an item, or three items for $25. There is no limit on the number of items. Times for appraisals will be scheduled in advance in 15-minute increments.

Registration. To preregister, call Adoption Network Cleveland at 216-881-7511. Walk-ins are welcome, but priority will be given to those who are preregistered.
