Cat Cookies

Catnip's strong scent pleases cats, whether added to toys, or just sprinkled for them to roll and play in. When added to their food, catnip aids digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 soy flour
  • 1 teaspoon catnip
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 milk
  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 1/3 powdered milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsulfurated molasses
  • 2 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix dry ingredients together. Add molasses, egg, oil and milk. Roll out flat onto oiled cookie sheet and cut into small, cat bite-sized pieces. Bake 20 minutes. Let cool and store in tightly sealed container. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Massachusetts
